Gia Rosa Creativity Studio offers a variety of beading technique classes from simple bead stringing to complex beadweaving stitches.  Julie Rose has a strong reputation for being a patient and thorough teacher who specializes in working with beginners.  Julie has been beading for over 30 years and still has a passion for this ancient art form.  The following pages give detailed information on the complete beading class listing.

Most of the classes are one session and are project based.  In other words, you come to class with your materials and you leave with a finished project.  Occasionally,  a class project may require more than one session, which will be noted in the class description.  Class fees do not include materials and all offer a materials list upon registration.  Classes are held at Gia Rosa Creativity Studio in Santa Fe, unless otherwise noted.  It’s no problem to have a class set up for a special group or as a home party at your location.  There are no additional fees but we do ask for a minimum of 3 pre-registered students.  Talk to Julie for more details (505) 629-8316.

In addition to single classes we offer a “Beading School” several times a year.  Beading School is a series of basic beading techniques taught over several weeks.  The school is technique driven and not project oriented.  Students will study techniques and create a sample book, not a finished project.   These classes require homework in between sessions and offer basic design lessons.  See the Beading School page for more details.
